How Do Universities Organize Self-Efficacy and Innovation?
How can universities empower their students and staff to act with self-efficacy and turn innovative ideas into practice?
About this event
Frank Floessel, Head of ETH Entrepreneurship at ETH Zurich, and Phillippe Schläpfer, ZHAW alumnus and co-founder of Symactiv, will discuss this question.
This event combines conceptual perspectives on the entrepreneurial university with practical insights from founding a start-up. Two presentations will explore the organizational, strategic, and practical factors that enable universities to become more entrepreneurial. Together, we will discuss how universities can create an environment in which students and staff take initiative, learn from experience, and effectively turn their ideas into practice.
